Requirements for clients with driver’s licenses from countries other than the U.S. or Canada:

  • A valid driver’s license from their country.

Requirements for clients with U.S. or Canadian driver’s licenses:

  • A valid driver’s license from their country.
  • Proof of full and transferable car insurance.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.

Insurance included in the reservation:

  • Clients with a driver’s license from a country other than the U.S. or Canada: Collision insurance (CDW) is included.
  • Clients with a U.S. or Canadian driver’s license: No collision insurance (CDW) is included. These clients must provide proof of full and transferable car insurance. The insurance cost from the quotation will not be deducted if the client provides their own insurance.

What does the CDW insurance cover?

  • The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance covers the rented vehicle in case of theft or accident.
  • The deductible amount is $1,000 USD.

What does third-party insurance cover?

  • Third-party insurance covers the other vehicle involved in the event of an accident.

Can I pick up the car in one city and return it in another?

  • Yes, it is possible to pick up the car in one city and return it in another. However, this service has an additional charge for returning the car at a different location from the pickup location.

Is mileage unlimited?

  • You are allowed 150 miles per day, which are accumulative.
  • Extra mile costs $0.25

Can I use someone else’s credit card to rent a vehicle?

  • Yes, you can use someone else’s credit card to rent a vehicle, but the cardholder must be present when signing the rental agreement and must be listed as an additional driver.

How much must be paid to confirm a reservation?

  • To confirm a reservation, a 20% deposit of the total amount must be paid.
  • If the reservation is made directly on the website, please check your email for the payment link for the deposit.
  • If the reservation is made via WhatsApp, the deposit can be made through the following payment methods: credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Zelle, Western Union, or cash.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • More than 48 hours before the rental: Your deposit becomes credit for your next reservation, valid for 1 year.
  • Within 48 hours prior to the rental: No refund or credit.
 

Is a refundable deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required for security purposes. This deposit acts as a guarantee in case of parking fines, traffic light fines, outstanding tolls, or lack of fuel when returning the vehicle.
The deposit amount will be fully refunded if none of the mentioned situations occur.

What is the amount of the refundable deposit?
The deposit is determined based on the type of vehicle and generally ranges from $250.00 to $500.00.

Do you have automatic or manual transmission vehicles?

  • All of our vehicles are automatic.

Do you have vehicles with air conditioning?

  • Yes, all of our vehicles are equipped with air conditioning.

Do you rent vehicles by the hour?

  • No, we rent for a minimum of 3 days.

Do you offer accessories with rentals?

  • Baby and child car seats
  • eSIMs with unlimited internet and calls

Is there an additional charge for more than one driver?
Yes, additional charges apply when the rented vehicle will be driven by more than one person.

Is there an additional charge for fuel?
You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had when you received it to avoid additional fuel usage charges.

Is there an additional charge for age?
Yes. This applies only to drivers between 21 and 24 years of age, as well as to drivers between 70 and 80 years of age.

What is the toll policy?
A – Prepaid Unlimited E-tolls
From $11.99 per day (includes activation fee).
B – Postpaid E-tolls
A $20 activation fee will be deducted from your security deposit, in addition to any tolls incurred

Can I drive outside the state?
Vehicles may only be driven within the state of Florida. Driving outside the state incurs a penalty of $500 USD plus $2 per extra mile.

If I rent a vehicle for an entire month, can I get a good price?
Yes. Vehicles can be rented by the month, and you will receive a special offer.

Do you offer discounts for Drive A Rent A Car members?
Yes. We offer discounts to Drive A Rent A Car members and temporary promotional discount codes.

Do you offer coupons?
Yes. You can view them on our website or social media when available.

Our operating hours are from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
If I have a flight that departs during your closing hours, is there a place where I can return the rented vehicle?
Yes. We offer a drop-off service outside of our operating hours. Please let us know in advance so we can give you instructions on where to leave the vehicle. Additional charges may apply.
